WHO ARE HOPE?

Hope

Hope is an awesome girl group originally formed in 2007 as part of the hit UK television show 'The X Factor'. The current Hope line-up consists of five very unique members: Phoebe Brown, Emily Biggs, Raquelle Gracie, Leah Lauder and Charlie Mole.

Their Origins

Each member auditioned as individual solo artists on The X Factor, but each were later rejected after an initial series of auditions. However Louis Walsh, a member of the judging panel, gathered the girls back and suggested that they re-audition together as a group. Gladly, the girls took this opportunity and came back as a girl group calling themselves 'Hope', who successfully made it through to the finals of the show. Sadly, they were the 7th act to leave the show, making it into the final five, which was a great achievement for all the girls, and their fans.

From that point, a small seed was sown and the popularity of Hope grew immensely.

Their Biographies

(From left to right in main image above)

Emily Biggs (DOB: 16-Mar-1990) - The 'blondie' of the group was only 17 years of age at the start. She lives in Torquay and performed with great posture, showing off her singing ability and determination, never failing to disappoint the fans and always reassuring to make everyone smile.

Charlie Mole (DOB: 28-Aug-1984) - The oldest member in the group, Charlie was originally studying a beauty therapist course. But as things have changed and as people have become aware of her fantastic voice, her most important goal is for her son Jack to be proud of his Mum.

Raquelle Gracie (DOB: 11-Feb-1987) - "A born performer" best describes Raquelle, a singer/actress who was born in Manchester, although currently lives in London. Well known for doing 'the splits' during her first audition in front of The X Factor judges, she puts her heart and soul into every performance, showing off her incredible voice with a great personality to match, whilst also showing a fierce but classy attitude which the public adores.

Phoebe Brown (DOB: 20-Jan-1991) - The youngest member of the group, who is part Filipino and part Italian, was only 16 years of age when she started with Hope. She took the stage every Saturday night during The X Factor with immense confidence and wowed the judges and the fans with her outstanding vocals and emotion. She achieved such great confidence and talent as she attended the Guildford School of Acting and had singing lessons twice a week, doing her family and friends back home in Addlestone (Surrey) proud.

Leah Lauder (DOB: 29-Jan-1987) - This student from London, shocked the judges and viewers with her amazing voice. She hopes to become an idol for fans to look up to, as she has never found one inspirational enough for herself to admire.
